...first 70 degree day in northern Illinois in over 144 days!,..took a drive in the 47...

My 1954, rebuilt 235 in front of original drivetrain but w/a 3.55 rear ended.

Fenton headers and soon to put on offy dual intake with Weber two barrels;

Future: power steering, tilt column, and HEI distributor (all bought)

Then a power brake upgrade: disk/drums.

These trucks have the coolest most unique look. Its like the chevy engineer guy that created them knew they' d be bad ass forever Love them, I'd have a garage full of them if mama would let me

 

I used to have 13 of these trucks in various stages of disrepair. Why I sold everything I will never know. The last piece I sold was a 1951 five window cab.

 

dont feel bad about that, I sold my snap on tools and the tool boxes years ago and still miss em
