Great pictures Bob and a good story to go with them. You'll laugh about it in a couple of years.

I have no idea how I didn't meet you and a lot of other HAMBers this last weekend. I was there Wed. night, Thursday 8am to 3pm, Friday 9am am to 2pm, Sat. 9am to 8pm, and Sunday 2pm to closing.

  10. I wish my pic's would have come out better. My camera setting was off. I usually put it on AUTO,but somehow it was on something else.
There weren't really very many girls at the show, and I missed the Pin-up contest,so what you see,is all I have! Sorry....but I was honestly there for the Mercs!!!

  11. I saw you when Bombshell,Mark gave you some posters and something else. He told me who you were after you walked away, then I couldn't find you. I had to leave early on Sat night cause I was gonna follow slddnmatt home,in case I had some trouble.
Hey! I made it home,so I can laugh about it now,LOL!!!!!

  12. Hell, we knew THAT!!!!!!!:D

  17. Love that crazy intake on the Hemi! A "tuners" nightmare, but oh so COOL. Now, in the last few entries, you're getting to the stuff "I" like!!! Don't stop, I'm gonna cum:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:

  18. Great pics Bob! Thanks for taking the time to put them all up. The biggest aggravation to me the whole weekend was blurry pics, too, so I feel your pain. ;) Awesome getting to meet you, Fernando and Matt. Matt walking me through the brass trim on Fernando's Merc was fantastic.

One of the huge highlights to me was talking with the guy who has the Frank Sonzogni Merc. He pulls out one of the original dash knobs that was made by Bob Hirohata (it was cooked when the car burned) and just handed it to me. I was just dumbfounded.....here in my hand was an original Bob Hirohata laminated knob. After checking it out, I handed it back and snapped a pic of it in his hand. All the guys I met and talked to were just like that as you pointed out when you talked with Jim McNeil....down to earth, humble and happy to talk about their cars. Can't believe it's all done. :(
