You shouldn’t get ads. Have you been to a different than normal website? Downloaded something, etc, recently.? You may have picked up something (forget what it’s called).
Not that I can help out, but curious if it happens on other threads or other sites you go to as well.

    Hello,

Delete the HAMB LINK (red X in upper corner) and reboot the whole website. But, before you reboot and make it come up, run your cleaner programs and get rid of all cookies from websites. Clear the cache, too. Your web program will have instructions on how to clear the cache.

Most people go to all websites, click on cookies to see the information and keep going at each site. If you have an anti ad blocker, then they want you to disable it... don't do it... the web information is not that important...move on.

With all of those things, then the HAMB site will boot up just fine. Sometimes it takes a couple of deletes and reboots to get things ok. Perhaps, one should change the password, too.

With a clean slate, you shouldn't have any problems. Stay with your favorite search engine, but clear the web site searches, too. Daily or anytime computer site clearing cache is always good. Then "defrag" the whole system. The defragment programs can be run while you do your thing on the HAMB or other sites.

Now, your computer is fairly clean and ready to boot up the HAMB site. YRMV

As an Alliance Member, I get no ads on the Hamb forum. But the Hamb forum is just one part of this website. If I go to the Jalopy Journal section of the site, and view one of Ryan's blog entries there, I will get pop-up ads. This appears to by by-design.

If you are on one of his blog posts on the jalopyjournal.com then yes you will see ads there, so do I. Once you are on the HAMB then you will not
