I´m trying to figure out how to convert my T5 from electric speedo drive to a gear driven version. I pulled the electric sending unit and it looks like a TH 350 driven gear housing will fit right in there. All I need to do now is put a drive gear on the output shaft , or am I missing something? the hole where the driven gear housing goes is about 22,7 mm or .89 inch... what I also noticed is that the hole is pointing to the output shaft in a 90 ° angle, aiming to the center of the shaft. I wonder how the drive gear would be able to engage with the driven gear in this configuration... Thanks for you help guys!
Do a search here. There is a member that converts electronic to mechanical. Can't think of his name ATM
