Advice needed for towing 1948 Cadi without problems

    Those headlight bezels appear to be the aftermarket ones made for 49-52 Chevys, meant to give those cars the appearance of a '53 Cadillac. Possibly made by Gem (or Jem, I forget the spelling). Very heavy die cast and the back side is not very smooth. Interesting to see them installed on a Cadillac. They actually suit the car quite well. The lowrider crowd pays a small fortune for those if they are what I think they are.

    So glad you got it home and it's lookin' good!
    It's still a good idea to get it up on stands and inspect things front to back, you just avoided having to reinstall the driveshaft!

    As a matter of fact, my son tried to put the hat on and the brim ripped and came down around his chin. Apparently baking in the sun for who knows how long isn’t kind to hats.
