Fitted the aerostars today, pretty straight forward just need to be careful when the old one unloads!!
Reckon it's gone down about 2 1/2", can't drive it yet as the driveshaft is off.
Bit concerned about the bump stops, have 1/2" max clearance between stops and ch***is??
Thinking of dropping the back 2" to get the car level
    Thoughts please!!
    Thanks

I would definitely drop the back 2". The front looks just about perfect but will probably settle a bit yet.

Looks great! I agree with 2" in rear. I cut about half of the height off my bump stops off which seemed to work well.

I like the rake i got from the Aerostar springs and will not drop the rear on mine.

I like a little "*** in the air" rear rake look myself.

Ok to trim the stops then?
I will definitely drop the rear, maybe aim for just a slight nose rake
Amazing how that has changed the look tho !!!

I have trimmed stops before on lowered trucks and never really had any issue. I just used a hacksaw and cut some off then used my grinder to kind of round the corners again so it looked more "correct". I figured if I ever had issue with cutting the stops, I could get new ones.

Roughly how much should I have between the stop and the car? Foolishly I didn't measure before, but I bet it was around 3"

I would have to double check, but think I probably only have 1-1/2" - 2" or so and mine doesn't bottom out that I have noticed so far.
