Hey all just taking the time to post a update. The last few months we've had the pleasure of feeding some of Her Majesty's Royal Engineers at FOB Howz E Madad along with our own troops. The Brits were blowing the **** out of the countryside clearing roads for out infantry. I've been up at a remote patrol base called Ghundy Gar supporting a company of infantry= Aco 2/502IN BN Doing what I do best providing hot meals for the guys who do the hard work. I've lost a few of my boys as I like to think of them and I tell you it's not easy. I sit at home on leave and hoist a cold one for my fallen brothers. Keep them in your prayers if you will. My kitchen Thanks for the support and good thoughts that you all have for all of us that are deployed. I thank you for the care packages as well that I have been able to share with my brother and sister soldiers.
Hey Zeke. Thanks again for all that you do. Along with all the other service men and women from all around the world, putting in the hard yards to allow us the freedoms we tend to take fro granted. Geoff aka whodaky
thanks for all that u do, my son just touched down there the other day on his second tour and has to be there for seven more months. thanks Ranee ( Davids wife)
Thank you for your service to our country! Speaking of care packages, the company I work for is going to be collecting items for care packages to be sent over. They have a list to pick from, but I'd like to hear straight from the source what you all really need. Any suggestions?
Cool to hear from one of America's finest. Are you letting those Brits get a taste of some good ole' Texas bar-b-que? Bet that would be a treat out there. Take care and thanks for your service. My son's best friend is over there as a crew chief on one of those bad*** helicopters but he doesn't really say much about it. Anyway, hope you ETS safe and soon.
Zeke, my sister may be one of your 'sister soldiers' soon. She will be leaving the US soon (within the next week) and headed to Afghanistan. Thank you for all you have done for our country and your fellow soldiers. Malcolm
