Projects After 4 years my truck gets a little love

I hope all that snow has melted! HRP

 

Gaww that would suck.....kinda dumb but both my new vehicles are outside and my POS 50 has lived the last threee years in the garage, haha....the engine/trans set up is sweet. You seem to know your way around that kinda stuff....

 

The snow is gone, spring has sprung and the C10 has a whole new attitude. I had an epic week last week. Just sucks that I'm back at work now.

The engine runs as good as it looks. 25 years on the engine stand seems to have had no ill effects. Once we got gas to the carb, it fired right up. I've never had an engine come to life so easily. A little tweaking on the carb and timing and we were driving. We made the 25 mile trip to Urbana and had dual exhaust with Porter mufflers installed at Red's Muffler Shop. Sounds great! I'll try to get the video posted soon.

Thanks to my life long friend, Ken for making the trip and getting the engine dialed in. Thanks to another good friend, Scott (Bucket Dream) for the awesome upholstery work on the original bench seat. It's comfy! Now I'm gonna put this thing to work.

Great job on a really great truck. If you didn't already know, there's a swap meet at Parkland this weekend. Hope you can make it there, I'd love to take some pics in person and maybe meet up with y'all.
