Hey guys I just finally got my 35 Ford fired up I'm running a 460 BigBlock Engine...Problem tho..I purchased aftermarket chrome valve covers from a local parts store..But I noticed a knocking tonight coming from the passenger side.. looking at the valve cover I can see 2 little dimples were the rockers are hitting!! The rockers aren't clacking so I assume there set!! Anyone else ever have clearance issues with aftermarket made in Taiwan valve covers? And any suggestions...because I really like the chrome covers. Thanks Brent

If the rockers are hitting you can either buy taller valve covers (assuming yours are short, and that they make taller ones) or make or buy spacers to give you some more room. Just depends on how much you like those covers versus wanting to have to buy new ones. If thats the actual problem, double check it before you go through the trouble of messing with spacers or new covers.
