Oh yes,I had forgotten about that, some people have no morals when it comes to others property.keep them that size and the block feature because we can still see them and those creeps can go suck themselves. I spend far too much time looking at these ..ha ha Cheers!:)

  4. My friends Uncle was a well known photographer from the 40's,50's,60's and early 70's. His widow has boxes of original photos from Indy,Lions,Ontario Speedway,Riverside Raceway,Freemont,Santa Ana,etc, that have never been published. I'm sure they would bring some BIG dollars. She is gonna give them to him soon, she says. Don't know what he wil do with them, but I know he won't ever sell them. I've seen some of them, and i'll tell you, they are amazing!!!
If you post pic's on the internet, you run the risk of people copying them and selling them. I saw a guy who had pic's of my sons Shoebox, framed and was selling them for $100 ! He had pic's of the front, side, and back, in a triple frame. There were a shitload of cars. I asked him how he could make money off my car without my concent. I was told if the car was in a public place, the pic's were "fair game". Anybody know? Is this true?

It's what is known to lawyers as a "grey Area" .Which means you 'could' attempt to force the issue in a court but you would need to be as wealthy as the owner of Harrod's in London who went around the world in the 70's sueing any store keeper who dared to use the name Harrod's .Even those whose surnames were Harrod... the same clown who believes MI6 killed his son and princess Diana as it happens.

I think these people have the right idea to protect the real owners of the prints. What your relative could do is Publish a book of photographs in a limited run. Or do as this site does and use software to protect copyright( or 'intellectual 'property) .

  6. I believe so.

Pascal, I have some original photos & negatives from Ray Morrisette collection that I need to get prints made then I will send copies to the AHRF.

People will try anything...it's nuts Feel like you have to protect your own name these days! We are thankful to have Ellen on board because she knows a good deal about what's what in law... It is, as you say, somewhat of a grey area.

JIMMY B: Thanks a TON for the link! Awesome pictures!!! I'm going to pass your message and link to our team!

    Rock on, troops!

    XXOX,
