air bag mounting help

    Hay guys im needing a little help here this is my first time 62 c10 triangulated four link with a step notch and air bags im trying to mount the lower bag mount but i have to put the loer mount at such a crazy angle to get it to lay out flat and its even worse when aired up ???

    Any info you guys can give me would be great Thanks

  2. It's hard to see your pictures. You could try posting them a little bit bigger, but you might have to mount the bag in a different location. Possibly between the axle and the cross braces of you notch.

    A typical setup would be to mount the lower bracket to the side of the axle and put the upper mount on the cross brace. If that is not an option for you then attach the upper mount to the top of the notch and the lower bracket to the top of the axle. If you are using slam bags they will be 3 inches tall fully compressed so that is the measurement you need to use to figure out the mount locations.

    The other thing to consider is the bag should be basically straight when 1/2 inflated or at ride height. This way any articulation in the axle will have minimal effect of the bag.
