I dont need it if this is something someone can use I will list it in the sale area just wondering. I have all the brackets to fit a 235 chevy? thanks for you advice Buddy

If the compressor is in good shape it will serve as an on board air compressor for a bag system.
When I first read the thread ***le, I thought this was about air bags that pop out of the steering wheel.

If you plan on using it for airbags, there are a couple things I'd do to extend the life of the compressor and increase the safety of your air suspension system. First, put some type of a clutch on the compressor so that it doesn't run all the time, similar to an A/C compressor. Run your air line through a check valve to an air tank, and use an electric switch with an unloader valve to actuate the compressor clutch. The switch should be set to disengage the clutch when the tank is less than it's maximum operating pressure. The unloader valve will release the pressure in the main line between the compressor and tank to keep pressurized air from 'sitting' on the outlet of the compressor head.

Run the output into the top of the carb. :D

be fun to get the hood to close over that in a car....

Also it probably has a damper with some extra grooves, so it'd be fun to try to fit it in a car at all.
