air bagging a '53 merc?

    anyone ever air bagged a '53 merc? what is involved? currently car has 3" dropped fat man spindles, 3" lowering blocks, had to removed 1/2 of the rear lowering blocks because drive shaft occasionally hit bottom side of tunnel by rear pumpkin!

  3. Simple you put in the late model colum of your choice and then you have an airbag.

    I suppose you could even have a p***enger side air bag if you rob the stuff from a real late model dash board. :rolleyes:

    If your drive shaft is hitting the tunnel the simplest solution is to raise the tunnel, or make a hole in the tunnel where it hits.

    If you want to bag it then bag it but your question is like a fella saying my engine has lots of blowby where do I buy the best wide whites. You don't need an excuse to bag one if that is what you want to do. Just contact Gambino and be done with it.
