air cleaner opinions

I did a search and could not find anything so does anyone think they have a superior air cleaner..I have this edelbrock on mine 'cause I thought it looked good for $15.00. I have looked at some washable filters that claim to increase horsepower, better airflow, attract wealthy young women, etc
What are you using and have you noticed any changes in performance?

 

hate to give you bad news that style air filter is know for catching fire. the foam gets dry, if the car backfires thru the carb it will burn. to bad because i like the looks of them also

 

Hang it on the wall, about all its good for. Like stated above, those things are dangerous.

 

I had one of those, melted, nearly ruined a carb. Go with the tried and true round paper element.

yup yup..... fire, had it not been for a little girl and a plastic pumpkin full of water..
