I've got a tri power setup on my 54 ford. going for period correct look. currently, it has a large oval shaped air cleaner. was looking into swapping that out and getting one for each carb. saw some finned ones, saw some louvered ones... my question is, what is period correct for the year or era?
3x2s 'need' 3 air cleaners fer sure - good move. never hide them under a big ol air cleaner. what period you going for? in 54 chrome helmets or louvers are probably what you are looking for. --- but im sure finned aluminum was available too. ------ use whatever is K0000Lest!
