I have a 240 volt 6.5 Horsepower twin cylinder Craftsman Compressor in my garage. I use it about 4 or 5 days a week for a couple of hours here and there.

But my question is I usually have it hold about 110 lbs of air in the tank and about 110 lbs on the regulator...will it mess up if I leave it full of air 'til I use it again?

Sears guy said yes it will damage the seals and that I shuold empty it after every use.

Home Depot guy said no big deal just leave it alone no big deal.

    who is correct??? Help please.

    Thanks, TD

  2. I have never heard that one- I never do anything but shut it off at the end of the day and crack the valve on bottom each morning ,to bleed out moisture that settles there.
