If you just want it so you have an air compressor to air up tires and blow things off and maybe use with an impact wrench once in a while it will damned well beat a poke in the eye with a sharp stick but little compressors won't keep up with a lot of air tools or sandblast equipment at all.

I've got one of their little 8 gallon compressors that they sell for around 100 buck that does air up tires and lets me blow the dust off things but doesn't have enough poop to run my impact to break a lug nut loose on my pickup. Not fancy but it saves taking the air tank to town to fill it up to go home and air up a tire like I did for a lot of years.

What MR48 said. Save your money, maybe find a larger used one. An air compressor is a tool to build your shop around, get a bigger one.

If you've got 220 in the shop, get a 220 aircompressor.

I would get the Harbor one, and opt for the warranty... Print 20% off coupon, that will cover the 2 year warranty...

They stack coupons over by me...
