air cond

    any body out there built or modified an airconditioning system to fit - i want to fit air cond into my 46 truck but wan't to try and hide it up in the dash

The last time I put air in a hot rod was in a 40 ford sedan back in the seventys,,,,,,as I recall i used a old add on underdash type that was in a ford in a junk yard and took the cover off and fabed up sheet metal to cover it,,,a bunch smaller,,,,I used the flexable hose to route the air to ducts I removed from a 70's ford.

    It worked great,,,,,HRP

    Pia. Especially if your trying to install it in a vehicle thats already assembled.
    I'll never install another again. I even used an aftermarket unit. The tilt out windshields in the old Fords are great! I can't figure out why automakers stopped doing that.
