I am looking for some opinions on what company to go with for air in my car. I am looking to keep a little bit of the glove box. Any opinions on what company to go with would be great.

  2. Vintage Air in San ANtonio, TX. You will kepp all of the glove box

  3. I have contemplated on gathering all the original parts for the factory Ac since I want to keep my 56 mostly original. Only thing is you will most likely spend more then what you bought the car for. Id say the same as the previous has stated.... Vintage Air makes quality kits!

  4. Can't help you with info but when you put in the air how about posting pics of your work on the 52-59 Ford group. We would like to follow along.

I used Classic Auto Air in my 55. I've installed Vintage Air systems and I would give the edge to CAA because of the quality and fit of the compressor brackets that come in the kit.

  6. I used Southern Air in our '54 Ford "Ranch Wagon" and haven't had any problems,,I will say that Vintage Air is the most popular choice.

I bought mine from a guy that had abandoned his project so I got it cheap. HRP
