I have a quick question about airride in trucks if anyone can help. How is hauling/towing? Does the airride adversely affect how much you can haul versus a stock leaf spring setup?
Using 8 solenoids, and a proper installation, as mentioned earlier, and air bags will help you tow. There is a reason all those Semi's and large trucks have them!
After you have installed air bags do you have to have your vehicle re-aligned at the ride height that you are going to cruze at? If so do you have to always remember what that pressure is or you will wear out your front tires? I think i know the answer but was just curious what you guys would say.... thanks in advance.....
With a few months now since I took the coil springs out and installed air on my sedan. Best thing I ever did, the car drives so GREAT now, it was really harsh before.
Yes pug you will have to get it realigned after completing the install and at wherever you want ride height to be. The thing with running the same pressure all the time is its a lot easier than you might think. I've owned half a dozen with airride and you pretty much always run them at the same pressure, and it just won't feel right if you have it set up different than you're used to plus if you have gauges which aren't a complete necessity but are nice to have, then it's super easy. Just kinda have to own one and it would all make sense. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
