Thanks Pete! As for just a regular street use...no. In almost 20 years I've ran top and bottom bars in any direction you can think of, and any combination you can think of. Including running the top bars straight and the bottom bars at an angle. I've also ran the bags by mounting them off top and bottom bars not just the rearend, on everything from minis to 1-ton duallys. It all depends on the car/truck what we need to clear (gas tank is usally a big issue, and a determening factor) but most of the time it comes down to how I want the set up to look like in the end, as I hate doing the samething twice. Now don't ask me about 2-links for a bag or any adjustable suspension set up......garbage, just garbage........
I'm running two compressor two tanks one for the front one for the rear goodyear bags in the front and simi bags in the rear of my 50 Chevy truck I don't know a lot about bags my buddys set it all up didn't think I would like it but I must say its fun to pull up and lay a body on the ground and not goto jail lol. Will try to get some pics soon
I know this is an old thread but it gave me someideas for my63 belair so i am posting a few pics of my front setup. Great thread!!
