Research the crap out of it.There are so many things that can go wrong with air suspension,in my opinion you must plan each detail out, from the parts you are going to use, to who is going to install it,how good are they, what are their welding skills like and how many bag jobs they have done. They need to be good with angles as well.Once you get that out of the way,its worth it,bagged cars lay nice.Good luck

There are a few guys on here that are really good with bags. Do a search and you will find them posted on many threads. Good luck.

7. Hey Cody,

Since air ride was an option offered on 58 Cadillacs from the factory, the frame and control arms are likely roomy enough to add air ride without too much cutting.

You might want to give these articles a good look over. They pretty much tell you what to do.

If it were me, instead of the "Shock Wave Air ride", I would save a lot of money and use regular air bags with standard tube shocks mounted separately to the frame, the same way Cadillac did the 58 on the air ride cars.

Hope this helps,
Greg

8. There are some pictures of air ride Cadillac frames here:<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:eek:ffice:eek:ffice" />

You will have to search, I know there are pictures showing the frame parts, but I'm not sure exactly where.... It's been a few years since I surfed here.

Later,
Greg
