holy meth trip tweakman - grab another bindle! was this methhead from the IE? Just another example of why cooking should not be done in the garage. did the dude see you takin pics? He probably thought you were from rebel rodz doin coverage its gotta be an act of god if those shock mounts havent failed yet, unless its a trailer rat LOL
Just noticed the cut up PBR cans in the car. Guess that was his other attempt at being cool or more likely used them to patch his car.
I agree. I want to see a picture of the whole car... so when I'm driving behind the trailer this thing ends up on, nothing falls off and hits my car.
hahah Looks like he welded it with Flux Core Wire, GARBAGE.. i would not wanna be on the road next to him.
You guys are mean it doesn't look that bad. For a water heater install!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!BAHBAHBAHABAHABHa Some seriously spooky **** there
i havent done anything that bad since i did the the the oil and cooling system in a geo metro all in copper pipe, garden hose , cvpvc, and cut up used radiator hose... granted i was drunk on 20 bottles of Guinness and 4 shots of jack , AND, it was a pallet jumping car so i didn't care anyways. lol
Since 'stick won't say what car this is on, I am led to believe that we are seeing a sneak peek at the Panel Beaters trophy for the most ratty example of a rat rod. Congrats, Eddie, you've nailed it! Bravo!
I hope that car stays in California .Safety first .Killing your self is OK in my book but that thing will probably take someone else out in the process .I build on the edge but I always think about safety and my family .It appears he was in a hurry and forgot to learn to weld
Well, that was very nice of you to wish all of us californians to be accidentally killed by this dumb***, lol. Somehow, I think this guy REALLY COULD manage to kill us all accidentally... I think I'm gonna move to texas now...
I was just thinking that about the dude seeing you take pictures, he probably thought he was a bad*** since people were actually taking pictures, I wouldn't dare leaving the garage with something like that, let alone take it to a show!
dude... that thing came to our show & I had the guys put it on the other side of the building in the "overflow" parking... then a few hours later the guy took it upon himself to drive it back over to where the real cars were.. he seemed like a nice enough guy, but man that thing was scary... we dubbed it "The Stress Riser" cause i thought it was going to crack and come apart while it was just sitting there.
I thought you put us in the "overflow rat rot ghetto" for a reason. Jeez thanks!!! Hahahahahahaha.......
THAT is exactly what "Rat Rods" were back in the day...**** wagons that any self respecting car guy wouldn't be caught dead in the same parking lot with. Squirrels with wannabe Hot Rods...
If I saw that thing I would jump on the bumper and destroy it. I would then tell the guy I just saved him a million dollar lawsuit. He'd owe me big time.
I agree, its crazy some of the **** that you see some guys do with mini trucks, its like one out of five trucks are nice, the rest hack jobs!
And what's going on with the bolts? It look like 2 bolts, as in, one engaging one-and-a-half nuts, the other engaging half a nut. Thanks, Kurt
Looks like McGyver created that using what he could find in his bathroom. Those welds look like the mess in the street after shooting off 4th of July fireworks. If he didn't bother wirebrushing his welds, I'm thinking he didn't bother cleaning any of that rust off before welding with his home-made battery powered coat hanger welder either. I still can't figure out what's going on with those bolts and nuts that hold the shock on.
That's pretty ****ty, but at least he didn't try to weld his link mounts on to the cast center section, i've been seeing a lot of that around lately. And while i agree there are a lot of hack mini truckers, the good mini truckers are miles ahead of the hot rod/custom guys when it comes to air suspension. They're not still using 1/4 inch line or manual valves.
