  1. Here are a couple things I picked up. The collection is mostly military.

Cool ride. I never appreciated UK cars until I took a trip across the pond. Any home-built machine is quite a sight over there.

That Napier engine on webshots is beautiful. What is the original application?

Don't know what the ones you've got look like but I'm thinkin' they'd make sick e-brake handles.

... unless their small... then... inner door handles!

Maybe even handles for seat track adjusters. lengthen the arm so the handles are in view. Make people think twice about moving the fucking seats... (pet peeve)...

Or if you wanted to Rube Goldberg something, solidly mount your seatbelt latch to a bracket with the handles cam actuated to the release button. Want out of the belt? Pull the lever!

  5. Nice!

I also like the Alvis with the robe wearing bunny hood ornament.

  6. I have a Cessna Bird Dog wing tank gauge in the petrol tank of my modified. The tank was made by an RAF fabricator/welder. I also have a variety of aircraft switches.

Do aircraft landing lights mounted via tractor light cases behind the grille count?? I've got some 60's GE LONG range aircraft lights behind the grille on my 60 cad, one of em just burnt out (darn it), and I'm looking for a matching replacement. But I can see about 5 miles down the highway on a clear dark night. I love em :)

  9. Here are some picture of some aircraft parts we have in a box at the shop. Lots of potental here. The blister would look good on a traditional rod hood side. Something to give the generator a little more room. I can see those heavy stainless steel clevis in a suspension set up. They are 1" across the throat and the threaded shank is 7/8". The shorter links are also suspension candidates. I'm thinking links between axles and fricton shocks. Lots of hardware and A/N fittings. Some are set up as bulkhead fittings with trick screw on retaining nuts that have the A/N thread. The landing light lens would work as an interior light cover and the smaller stainless steel ring could dress out a filewall penetration. Almost everything is stainless or aluminum and polishes up nicely. Except, for the green anodized stuff.
