Anyone know about Airguide model # 656 tach it is 0 to 8000 with four wires out the back, black, red, yellow, and green. It looks like a smaller version of the early Sun tach. I want to run it on my flathead 8 ba, 12 volt negative ground. How to wire it would be helpfull.
    Thanks

Airguides are a cool looking tach. I ran one in my '33 p/u.
The 656 needs a sending unit, and they're tough to find.
    Good luck.

  4. I am running an AIRGUIDE in my "A". I had the same problem, the sending unit was fried! I sent out to Williamsons Instrument Restoration and had converted to a newer Mallory sending unit. It is working great now. They are a great bunch of guys there, ask for Ron.
