After fighting homeade brackets and piss poor belt alignment I gave in & bought the AG 600L PS/Alt bracket setup.
It works well enough, takes about 6 hands to install but it does fit.
Now my problem, somewhere along the way the idler pulley fell off.
I need a new one stat & AG's phone has been on a constant busy signal for several days now.
Do any of yall have said bracket kit, that would be willing to measure the idler pulley depth & diameter. Then I can purchase one local.
    Id sure appreciate any help.
    Thanks guys.

Try an e-mail. I've been using AG components since they started and have found them very supportive with customer problems. They make propitiatory brackets for my water pump kit and that are extremely high quality and priced right. Never a problem. Don't give up.

@krylon32 Thankyou, I didnt see an email on the website. I dont have a PC, only a phone so that may be the problem. For now Ive asked my local Hot Rod parts shop. Who sells their products if they can obtain the pulley or at least a part# or measurement.
Hopefully I can get that info from him or here. Otherwise I'll bug my Napa guy to let me dig through the pulleys til I find one close enough.

It looks like the idler pulley radius just fits between mounting bolt and water pump pulley.
Of course, the pulley diameter would be twice the measured radius.
Loctite might help next time, as idler turns counterclockwise.
    I hope that helps, some.

  6. It looks like the idler pulley is the same size as the alternator pulley in the picture above. Measure the alternator pulley and get one close to the same size. The size of the idler pulley doesn't matter, as long as it fits in the space.

I'm going to hazzard a guess that is somewhat educated and say that this is probably the pulley

It's pretty well the one size fits all Ford V belt Idler pulley that you can put on with a bolt But there is another one for 12 MM belts https://www.oreillyauto.com/detail/...ve-truck-1977-ford-f-150?q=pulley-idler&pos=2

You might have to go to pick a part and pop hoods on pre serpertine belt Fords to snag the right bolt though I looked up a 77 F150 with a 460 but the compatability chart shows a ton of rigs that that pulley fits.
