I think I the accelerator pump on my 235 is failing. It is only a year old, but is developing a stumble. Who, if anyone, makes a good kit for my stock carb? It's a 55 Chevy.
My carb guy tells me they've only made alcohol resistant rubber plungers for 4 bbl carbs. I have a Rochester 2 bbl, the rubber plunger shit the bed after about 7-8 months. Not sure what you mean by "stumble"? Mine was dying on take off. Accel pump was not working. If that's your issue, just replace the plunger. Hope this helps.
