OK 1 I have a question or two. I'm a Ford man but this has my attention. Who made the Algon GMC engine head ? And or ii it the same as a Wayne Head. I can't find anything on the history of this head ?

I saw an Algon head once about 30+ years ago. It was made by Al Gonzales of Oakland, California, who also made AlGon fuel injection. it was iron. Had a wedge combustion chamber similar to Cads and Olds of the era. Not a copy of the Wayne or Hourning head. The Wayne and Howard heads have no combustion chambers and the Hourning head has a round chamber much like the stock 270.
