Anyone know the procedure for getting the doors to close with correct gaps and levels? My passenger door sticks out 1/2 inch at the bottom on the opposite side from the hinge jam. Cheers, Russie.

It is fairly typical to see the bottom back corner sticking out on 41-48 Fords. We made mine a little better with a big hammer but my door had been worked on before.

like this? not a bad idea to replace hinge pins to start, then play around with the hinge adjustment- sometimes you need to oblong the holes to get more adjustment- I banged, leaned on, twisted the door etc.. to get it closer - sometimes need to adjust the latch/stricker plates etc also

As mentioned a good idea to replace the door hinge pins and see how things fit then. If the gaps are even then its a case of twisting the door to get it to fit top and bottom. A 4 X 4 wood block in the top of the door opening and pushing the bottom of the door in can move things were you want them.

So Pins First, then gaps and then flush up the edges. and you should be good.
