  2. You want TECHNICAL advice, on this website?!?!?!
    Sheesh, of all th' nerve....
    56-57 Chevy, all -
    Caster desired = + 1º, limits + ½º to + 1 ½º
    Camber desired = + ½º , limits 0º to + 1º
    Toe-in limits = 1/8" to 3/16"
Toe out on turns = inner wheel 20º, outer wheel 18 1/3º
Steering axis inclination = 3 ½º to 4 ½º
These last two will indicate, if wrong, bent steering arms, bent suspension, or bent steering knuckle support.
Hope this is all you need,
    Cosmo

    hey,,,,
you should grab an old MOTORS MANUAL,,,if you don't already have one,,,
they have alignment specs in there,,,

what kinda system you running,,,i know the hunter i use at work goes back pretty far,,,then i can manually add and save additional specs,,,,to be used later,,,,

i have a motors at work and one at home,,,

    love yous

Cosmo - Thanks!! The HAMB comes through again!

I have a few of old Motors manuals at home that cover from 1930 up to about 1978. Only problem is, I couldn't get home to get the info - I found out at the end of the day that the Chevy was coming in & I had already made plans that kept me away from home.

I'm running a John Bean Visualiner (the one with the fancy camera pods and LEDs). Some of the Specs are screwy as all hell and they only go back to 1976 for Chevy. Our other machine is a Hunter P611 that goes back to 1968. Luckily you can input specs into both machines.

    Thanks again for the help.

    Later,
    Jay
