This is definately my favorite so far... awesome look to it. Hope my '32 comes out looking this good! Can we see more of this car, interior, motor?
This shit is contagious y'know. Not helpful, I've got a C motor waiting in the garage for me to put together.
Play?? I think you just won! No fukkin joke... That car is a huge inspiration for my own roadster project. If I can come even remotely close to the mojo that thing has, I'll be ecstatic.
It's an A frame & rotted A cowl. cowl was pie-cut in to "V" the dash & make the body follow the frame rather than overhang. The touring car rear section is unknown, narrowed it to frame width also. Filled between with fab pieces & butchered touring car door. I wan lucky to find the pieces I did. Probably have to make all the next body
Hey Loudpedal, your roadster looks a lot like the one Kirk F. White had a while ago. Is it the same car? I love it either way! I met Kirk at Hershey a few years ago, cool guy.
Alright guys, I built a hood for it so I could add it to this thread (ok not really). But it is a Model A with a V8. Mike
no it deffenitley does 283 or 327..mine has the same looking mill in it ..i think that just as traddional and a flathead
Keep it on track... Model A's, Flathead V8's! This Model A pick up is for sale! Thing moves, will do 80mph for 3/4 hours straight.
Here's mine. 29 Roadster, 40 Merc mill with a lumpy cam, 40 Merc trans with column shift. 40 Ford rear, spring behind with new rear frame, F1 frt brakes, 40 Ford rear brakes, dropped 29 frt axle with lengthened 29 wishbone, F1 X-member and pedals. Which set of wheels and tires do you like better; Wide white dragsters or 6:00-16's? I'm torn. Dan
Alright, I'll post some pics of my AV8 coupe project. Newest part is the engine, its a 59a block. Sorry about the bad cell phone pics.
Lets see some more pictures of that model a pickup Dirtyest Devil. Looks killer from what I can see of it.
