Several of the roadster owners after attending the Deuce Run in 2010 drove out to the LARS last year,,they earned them. HRP

This old coupe was originally built and drag raced around the New Jersey area by Bill Vansickle,,his son now owns the car and is a fixture on the Deuce Run. HRP

  12. HRP, if life is kind to me, I'll be joining you for that run. I'm guessing it's around 1100 miles one way. That ought to be a real deuce adventure!

Thunder and lighting killed our electricity at the house sometime during the night until 4:30 this afternoon So no interent either. :(

I had a GREAT time. Saw a lot of old friends and made a few new ones also. As the driver, I did not shoot any photos but my p***enger did. Maybe he will post a few.

We had DEUCES from 6 states ... on the run, the weather was PERFECT and everyone I spoke with said they had a great time. A few of our ALWAYS partcipants had family issues or work interfere with doing the RUN this year ... but they are planning on not missing next year. :D

THANKS to ALL who came to the RUN.
Especially the Ohio, Georgia, Virginia and Kentucky folks who had to drive the furtherest.

Hotrodprimer, his wife, my co-pilot and myself went by Lenoir NC and their cruise in on the way home. They had to have 350/400 cars at the cruise in. It is in the down town main street area ( about 6 blocks and side streets ) and was a good finish to a GREAT day.

Got home about 10:30 PM ... washed the coupe up and went to bed.
Already looking forward to the ALL DEUCES RUN 2012.

Not only loved looking at all the cool 32's, but loved seeing the gas down to $3.59 a gallon. Here it's almost $4.00 a gallon.

I filled up this morning ( daily driver 2009 Silverado ) and it was $3.29 a gallon for regular in my little town. They are having a little gas war. Three stations ( directly across from each other ) ... two were @ $3.30 a gallon and Shell was @ $3.29 :D

I think I will go fuel up both the Deuces and the wifes Cadillac. :)

Brock Henderson broke steering arm IMG_1538.JPG

luckily where it broke was in front of a guy who had a welder.
    IMG_1542.JPG
Later that evening we went to Buster Henderson's house (no relation) and did some serious remanufacturing and strengthening the arm.

isn't that because their all red and they all look the same and "I prefer Model A's anyway...' ( which I have always wondered why read the thread??)
