    it is the way it goes but in my case it's on customer cars. always have to discuss the pluses and minuses of what to do or not do. nobody ever regrets going "all out" but they almost always regret cutting corners or leaving it for another time.

    i normally have to do things 3 times & they are still wrong . its a hobby & you need PATIENCE ...................

    I like how you think...so now I have a new signature.

    Tonight is a great example. I finally got the new slip yoke for my drive-shaft that I've been waiting for, and seeing how the u-joints have only about 1,000 miles on them I was going to reuse them. One thing leads leads to another and not only am I swapping in new u-joints, but I'm also stripping and sanding it down to put a fresh coat of paint on the whole drive shaft. I used to think I could do just enough to make it good enough...what the hell happened to me? I must have turned 40...
