Just called to place an order on stuff I needed. Very friendly and polite. amazing place that I never knew about.

Great that Mr. Brown and his daughter posted. It might not be a good thing that ya'll are members here now...this place is addicting and causes a great deal of work stoppage during many of our days :)

Thanks for doing what you do!

Somebody posted earlier, that it is better to call Stacey Brown with part numbers for what you need.

Can any of you tell me where I can find part numbers for 60's era Fords on the internet without having to buy a parts manual re-print CD on eBay?

I thought everybody knew about Stacy's place! We've all been buying parts from him for years now. He's a great guy and 99.9% of the time can find you what you need! The place is amazing! It would take years to go through all the treasures he has. I'm stoked that the HAMB found him. He deserves it! Good luck Stacy and welcome aboard!

Sorry if there is a misunderstanding on the part number thing. Yes, it is always helpful if we are given part numbers. Especially for me (Connie) as I don't have Stacy's brain. SOME parts we do not have the books to do research. In those cases we do need the part numbers to be able to help. Even though a dealership will say "it's been discontinued", "no longer available", that's ok with us, we just need he part number.

It's so cool that Stacy and his daughter posted! I'm working up ideas for a Speedster and they'll get the nod for whatever parts I need and they have. I still can't believe how awesome he is for keeping a place like that going in this high tech world we're living in. I swear I've looked at that video at least once a day!

Sounds like that would be a cool place to add on a cruise. I can see myself walking through that place and smiling everytime I looked on a shelf.

Well, Ill tell you all.... I just recieved my parts from Stacey. (motor mounts for a 240/300 ford inline six which are no longer available)

Not only did they come before I expected, the packaging is too cool to go unshared, so I took some pics.

No computer printed out address labels, and no bubble wrap or popcorn. When was the last time you saw shredded cardboard?? And shipped in an old crusty box!

Stacey and family, welcome! And let me just say this, as I think I speak for everyone here:

    DONT CHANGE!!

I get enough pre-folded boxes with postoffice computer print out labels and bubblewrap all day. This was a true treat! Not only to get the exact NOS part I was looking for, but to feel that I bought it in '65! You know?!

    Priceless!!

Bought some great NOS parts from him a few years back. What a nice guy and a wealth of knowledge. I kinda always thought of him as one of our best kept secrets, but then the HAMB has to go spoil it. Oh well, good reason to keep him in business and our old cars on the road.

    Keep it up Mr. Brown!

Wow...I thought my dad and I had some stuff, but I am wrong once again. My head is spinning now with all the parts I need and want. Well it looks like my credit card is going to have a great relationship with an Older Fella named Stacy...Man I wish I lived in Texas, I would live in that parking lot.

Back in the '70's I bought a trailer load of stuff at a garage sale. It was from a closed down Western Auto store. I stached away in a store room at the shop a bunch of new parts, mostly fuel pumps. Maybe 25-50 of them. They have numbers, but have no idea what they fit. Also a few carb kits and boxes of heater hose. Bunch of stuff. Been wondering how to get rid of them. Think I'll offer them to Mr. Brown. He would probably know what they would fit. Would rather give them away than trash them. Joe.

I never saw this thread first time around, so thank you for bringing it back-to-the-top wingnutz. I might just try to call one day about that 38 Lasalle steering wheel I've been chasing forever.

You know, a guy could make some hot rod money - not a lot, but enough for maybe like two important parts a month - playing middle-man for this company and being a HAMB liaison. You know, someone that lived local to this guy, who folks could ask about parts, and that guy could bring in a parts list once a week to this store, get back with the folks from the list with prices, and maybe charge for shipping plus 10%...

Just a thought. Hell, maybe the dude would throw a few parts your way for helping him sell some! LOL!

I wonder what he gets for a 30 Mercury fender? That's got to be r-e-a-l-l-y rare.
Seriously, that's a real treasure both the warehouse and the man.
