In the mid 70's I lived in Georgetown, KY with Jim Thompson. He was a real hot rodder who fabricated everything himself. Had a Hemi, a 26 T and was last seen finishing a 48 Prefect ( Anglia) with a 340 6 pack.

I helped jim raise his two daughters, as his wife had left to be a county music star...never heard of her did you?

Jim worked on drug research in Lexington and was transferred to Virginia. He built a beatiful log house and I am sure he is still a rodder.

Over the years I lost contact and want to express my gratitude to him as he has inducted me into hot rodding and it has provided me over 30 years of fullfillment. Any ways, I hope he is on H.A.M.B., or that someone in Virginia knows how to contact him. He would be about 59 years old. Thanks for your time.

Where in VA? You might want to add that to your subject too.

[I think Jim was working in the Richmond area but was commuting about 30 or 40 miles each way. I hope this helps. Tall skinny guy who always had a moustache, was balding at 30 years old already...arent we all?
