What a blast! The Kontinentals just never let us down. Thank you!

This was the third year I made the trip down to Austin and it just gets better every year. Uncle John, and I, hung out with Megan and Denise for the better part of the weekend and really enjoyed their company. There are stories I'll be telling for quite a while about the fun we had . Got to see some friends that I only see a couple times a year and met a ton of new people.

I'll save the rest for my photo post, later on, in this thread.

Uncle John, and I, left Omaha on Wednesday morning and stayed at a friend's in Dallas. We met up with a few guys from the Dallas area on Thursday morning and cruised down to Reggie's shop.

We went to Thirsty Thursday at Billy's after the BBQ. Unfortunately, I didn't take any photos there. Thanks to the Thunderbolts and Billy for having us over!

Friday morning brought some rain, cool weather, and the Garage Crawl.
Big thanks to Mark for setting this up and being our tour guide. Also, thanks to the shops that opened their doors to us!

First stop - Cimtek (sp?)
Quite the shop - some very high-tech, modern cars and amazing craftsmanship

 

Ok, finally have a little time to finish up with the photos!

Next stop on the Friday morning Garage Crawl was Bill Ward's place.
It was very nice of him to let us in to his "hobby shop" and check things out. What a cool place and cool collection of cars, parts, etc.

 

Mercury Charlie's shop was next. Thanks for letting us check the place out and taking the time to chat with us.
