Bought my 40 pick up in 1967. put a 48 merc in her with all the go fast goody's. Started driving out of state to shows so I put in a 302 in the 80's sometime. Then in 2000 I put in a 93 HO. Oh ya I still have the Merc flat head.

I've had my deuce 3 window for going on 30 years. It's on the 5th chassis, 3rd or 4th motor, been insured and tagged for the last 20 years and will see the light of day next summer as a fully finished? car for the first time.

I found the body for my roadster in 1967. I started collecting parts in 1973 and put it together in 1976. I've been driving it since.
I tend to keep my cars for a long time:
    '69 Camaro since 1973.
Even my daily driver, 1988 Celebrity Wagon, was delivered Dec 1, 1987. I'll be able to drive it to the Nats in a few years. (Just kidding!)

I 've had my 40 for 26 years. I got it when I was 13. Had it running by the time I was 19. It was a good way to keep me out of trouble while growing up. A few nice High School drivers made progress slow though!

63 dodge - owned that sinc 1979 so that makes it 30 odd years
55 Desoto - owned that at least 9 years
had a 35 desoto for 11 years but sold that for the 68 Chrysler so the the trend begins again
Kinda find its hard to sell them after all the hard work
