I like 54's most out of the 52'-54' cars, but I like the earlier "side spear" trim that stopped at the door. I got a nice full set of 53' Customline trim from a fellow Hamber, and decided to change it up a little. I wanted something that flowed well and found that the 50' "Custom" woodie front fender badges mimic the rear quarters of the 54' nicely. last night I rough trimmed the 53' side spear to fit the 50' fender badge (first pic shows untrimmed on top and trimmed on bottom) and crudely mocked it up (I know its crooked). I dig it! I've got a few more fun lil' tricks coming up soon. stay tuned.
