Technical Allen Syncrograph ?

I picked up an older Allen Syncrograpgh over the weekend it seems to work, but I’m looking for some information. I read some old post. And saw there was a guy that used to have parts and information but his website no longer works.

Does someone have a breakdown of these machines ? My chuck is froze up want to remove it to soak it and get it working.

Also would like to know how it works on 4 cylinder distributors?

If it is like this one it does work on 4 cyls.

 

Yes after looking at mine it too has a 4 cylinder position. It just doesn’t have 4 cylinder markings on the wheel.

Also is there a way to make one of these work on a MSD Distributor? Or electronic distributor?

 

I saw a schematic to make a module for HEI, etc. I can't find it now. I hope someone can jump in here.

Thanks for the responses I’m going to purchase a copy of that manual. And today I got the Chuck free. So it works again.
