Looking for information regarding a Worcester Massachusetts welder hot rodder's Allison powered ford. His name was Jim Hersom. He owned Bay State Welding and Engineering in Northbridge, Massachusetts. He lived in Grafton Massachusetts. He was a member of the local car club Piston Poppers. He was my wife's father. Thanks Jon
Damn quick and beat me to it. Currently in Don Garlits museum https://www.hotrod.com/articles/1934-ford-hot-rod-first-in-fiberglass/
I have always wanted an Allison V-12 and should have bought one when there was no demand for them. The Arfons and E.J. Potter became expert mechanics on them and Potter did maintenance on Allison powered airplanes and power plants long after his drag racing and tractor pulling days.
