That's OK Doug. I'm far from an expert myself.

Just had a fun weekend away at a big car show here. Back to work today to recover.

You got it. Haven’t been for ten plus years. Weather was a bit showery Friday and Saturday morning but turned out pretty nice. Really good turn out.

  19. Bought this 1957 windowed sedan delivery in the late 1970's and sold it in the mid 80's after doing nothing. I often wondered what happened to it. Well, a couple months ago the owner contacted me and has restored it. The car went through a few owners before he got it.

These "Government" cars are pretty special and when I see one this is the color I expect to see, the 150 wagons are one of my favorite cars from as far back as my high school days when I had my eye on a perfect original yelllow/white one that a local diesel mechanic had as his everyday driver.
I actually tried to buy it but he said if he sold it he would need to buy another car and he really didn't want to do that.
I ended up buying my second car, a 57 BelAir two door hardtop, had it painted yellow and white partly from seeing that wagon but mostly from seeing an elderly lady driving a 57 BelAir of the same color combination in my area, only saw it a couple times a year.
