  4. DDDenny, it was restored to Forest Service green which is the normal. I bought it from the 2nd owner who painted it orange and installed orange shag carpet. Original owner was US Navy base in San Diego. Some kind of communication vehicle. Had miles of wire and several antenna holes. Original color was Navy gray, had an 'SP paint' and 'SP trim' on the body tag. (fleet vehicle) If I'd talked to the current owner a couple months earlier, he could have restored it as original.

Right after I got the delivery, I bought a '71 Chevy 'Border Patrol' car at auction. Good running 4 bolt 454 and T-400. You can guess where this was headed, just needed time. Glad it didn't happen and happy to see the sedan delivery restored.

Same day I got the sedan delivery, got a 210 two door wagon from same guy. Man, I loved buying project cars back then, cheap, abundant and you could find 'special' cars because most people didn't have a clue.

How is this ranch wagon for cool. Drove with his family 1000 miles for a massive car show that’s on every year. Still a Y block, three on the tree and just awesome

This is not what it looks like, this is a Canadian Pontiac Pathfinder.

  17. Family wagon, had it since 2007. Bought off ebay from a guy that was on here named Brent from Michigan but his old screen name no longer comes up. He was mulefarmer and was who told me about the HAMB. Rebuilt 316 and hydro, scarebird disc brake kit with huge eldorado calipers. Eventually will get the full treatment, probably the retirement project.

  18. U.S. Pontiac station wagons and sedan deliveries were built with same body as this.... Chevy body, but with a standard Pontiac front clip. IIRC the Canadian version had a front clip that was the same dimension front-to-back as Chev, but with Pontiac brightwork.

  19. A '56 four door was my first 'driver'. It was a good old beast, reliable and tough as hell. I'd like to have it today!
