It's tough for me to decide if I like this wagon style or the Buick Invicta wagon style more.

Like that, yep. I still remember my folks getting a brand new Invicta coupe or sedan. White outside and red inside. I was too young to know what I was riding in, but old enough to know I liked riding in it. Except in the summer when I wore shorts :eek::eek:

This showed up in my driveway today

Not sure what the final plan is yet (the truck in my avatar might get sold which will influence my options) but it'll most likely be a pretty mild custom that I plan to run as a daily/shop vehicle.

Some great inspiration in this thread!

I continue to "undorkify" mine: Cast center wheels, more rubber rake, repainted the blacked out window posts back to turquoise. Next is to remove the limo tint....

    That's NICE!! Are those 15" or 14" wheels? ^^^^^^^

  15. I HATE LIMO TINT on classics and hot rods, how farking ridiculous...that and 17" and bigger wheels, big ass wheels and tiny tires belong on late model cars...unless theyre OG Henry wires.
    That is all.

Here's a pic of mine, was @ the GNRS this past Jan. It was nicely lit in there, Ck out the driver. ;). The other pix are where it was getting ready to go there and the last 2 are when it was at the “Original Petersen” when it was in the “Surfs Up” exhibit for almost a year it seems. Loved having it parked there.

Here's my '55 Ford Ranchwagon. I bought this in June of 2012 and it was driven from Alburquerque, NM to Gilbert, AZ then picked up and followed me to Los Angeles, CA......and so far the LONGBOARDS go inside!

    Boones,

Wouldn't mind seeing some pics of yours (dig the '53's). My wagon came as is except the wheels and tires were changed to my tastes and reattached the long stainless trim. I got some more customizing ideas in my mind just not in the wallet right now.
