    Hi there,
I'm new to this board. I've spent alot of time on the Buick Club of America forum as I have two Buicks. The first, (my first car I ever owned) is a 55 Buick Special. After owning it for 20 years, I finally finished restoring it. I drove it 1200 miles to New York and received 393 out of 400 points. The old timers had a cow that I hadn't trailered it and I still did so well. I didn't fix it up nice to stick her on a trailer.
My other car is a slightly modified 63 Buick Wildcat convertible. Burgundy pearl paint with white naugahyde interior with silver "zodiac" sparkle inserts on the seats, done by Fat Lucky here in Austin.
My new project, and why I am coming over to a hot rod site, is a 31 tudor sedan, which I plan on putting a leftover 55 nailhead engine in. I already have a 40 ford rear end, dropped I beam front end, some seats from a 59 TBird and a bunch of other stuff I've been collecting for years. I just finished installing a top wood kit so the roof is all one piece so I can drop it down a couple of inches. I'm sure I will be asking a ton of questions since this will be the most extensive fabrication I've ever had to do.

    See y'all.
    Mike

  3. Hell yeah, Mike. Welcome aboard. You'll find every answer you could ever get in this place. Don't forget to check out the ArtShow. I sometimes wish I could just hang out here all day & get paid for it. Instead of having to go to work, sheez. Always having fun, regardless. Enjoy all of it. See ya on the board.

    Thanks Y'all,
At first I thought you were asking about my garage. I bought this house last year. Garage square footage...2,200. House square footage...1,200. Plus it's a real POS. I have an awesome wife.
But, the barn in the picture is in south eastern New York. I pulled over to take a picture of my odometer when it flipped and the barn just happened to be on the road that I pulled off at mile 99,998 on the 55.
BTW, I added factory A/C. It comes up through clear plastic tubes on the rear package shelf.
    See ya,
    Mike

I'm Running The Buick List, Nice Package, Cars, Barn. Wife Etc. It Takes A Good Wife, But Then When Good Wife's Are Built, It's Easier When You Own Buicks! A Good Wife Thinks 60 Cars Is A Good Start! Mine's Getting Touchy At 11, Had 16 At The House Once. The Ford Sounds With The 264 ! I Got One Under The Bench. Just Out Runnin My #'s Up Tonight. My Best. Rich

Forgot To Ask About Your Factory Air You Put In The 55 ! How Did That Go ? I Bought 3 - 55 Special's In Wyoming, 2- 2dr Ht's A 4dr Sedan W/ Factory Air.tube's Etc. I Had A 55 Coupe De Ville With It In I Was Going To Take It Out When I Sold It. It Looked Like So Much Fun, I Let The Guy Have With The Deal. Just Wondering On That, Is It Working Good ? I Heard From Some The Air Isn't As Cold As The New Stuff. Rich
