I'm thinking that a Moser set-up would have saved me money in the long run because one guy changed my bolt pattern and screwed that up, then the hub on the axle was wrong , then the drums were only "So-so". There was no problem when I bought the Housing and axles (Made to my specs) then hit the junkyard for the backing plates drums & other stuff... Not to mention time wasted when my car sat in the garage!
I do realize that when you move 1,200 miles that you lose your contacts,
but WTF there are Hot-Rodders in every state!
(Although I did find a good Transmission guy...
700R4 with converter, dipstick & tube, plus TV cable... for $800.00 & good for 450 horsepower).

  2. My number 2 cylinder would reach TDC on one.;)

Was there a comment to my insertion?

  4. I think we just went off on a tangent.

Unless you car is so low that it needs a driveshaft tunnel or your driveshaft is really short a mild offset won't hurt you. We are running a 30"driveshaft on the T now, our pinion is offset 2" no problems ( I do plan to center it this year though).

if you want the pinion centered you can send me the housing and I will center it for you (PM me for particulars), you will then need to get a shorter axle but that's no hill for a stepper. ;)

Thanks, but the shipping could get expensive, I'll get it done locally :)
