Here is where the 51 sits now that I got the dropped uprights and steering arms on. Its stock suspension from and rear. I plan on doing a 2 link setup that will allow the rear to be a little lower. Right now the front leaf spring mounts are the only part that actually touches the ground.

It doesn't have to be any lower than this.

Dig it!! Looks great plus you've already addressed the driving thing with the bags.

    Looking good.

Its got a single leaf in the rear, it pretty much just locates the axle. I plan on 2 linking it since its a torque tube. It rides real nice.

I dont know if it will get chopped. I am not sure that I like them better chopped and my wife definatly likes them unchopped better. I plan on getting all the other mods done and then decide on the chop.

functional lake pipes n then it will appear on ground... I am not one for bags for I would just lower it with just enough clearance to get around town and drive the crap outta it. I like function over how it looks when I park it or how cool it looks to shoot sparks at night... less issues on the road the better. To each his own :)

My goal is to be able to drive it when its totally aired out. If I move the spring mounts, then I can do that. The streets are crazy smooth where I live. 1/4 inch ground clearance will get you around most places.
