Technical Almquist 2x2 intake question

Got a tip about a 1951 Air Stream camper that was for sale about 15 miles from my house. I went there to check it out and found some interesting things for sale including a flathead Ford Almquist 2 carb aluminum intake. Seems to be in good shape and is for sale but I dont have any idea of value. Is this rare? What is the retail value of this intake? Thanks for any help!

the one in your pic is an early one,mine is a later casting,i would grab it,just my 2 cents.

 

I had one like that before, but never ran it. I would concerned about how little the charge mixes for it seems like a straight shot from the runners in the intake into the ports.

Looks cool as hell though. Prices vary for these but I've seen them sell between $150-400.
