I have an Almquist intake for sale in parts and had someone ask if the intake is for the early(32-48) or late(49-53) flathead motor.I always thought that it was for the early flathead motor and just wanted to doublecheck with the H.A.M.B. experts. Thanks, any help is greatly appreciated.

  2. It doesn't have the boss for the late front breather tube, but that doesn't mean you can't use it on a late engine. You just have to be sure it has a vent on the rear of the manifold.

Probably best to run a electric fuel pump and a regulator.2 pounds max if you are going to use Stromberg's or 94's.Use the rear fuel pump mount as a breather and you should be good to go.
