A complete 29 ford chassis. Good starting point.

Here's a pic of my project probably not to Hamb friendly but going to change the paint scheme and ditch the welds for some Bogart " Fly " rims to make it look more like a late 70's I-J/Gas car. Motor is a 300 ford six & C-4 tranny.

    My 55 Belair.
ill get better pics later. But heres what i got, dont look like much now...but you shoulda seen her when i got ahold!!

She was flat black with keystones up front and baby moons in the rear. badly radiused quarters, a 283 and a th350.

She will be Black with flames, some salt flat specials (american racing) with a 454,tunnel ram dual quad. 4-speed M-22 and 9in. better radius's (i like the volvo idea)

I'm new today. I need to look around a bit before jumping in! This is my 38 Buick Century Coupe. Still running the straight 8 and 3 speed. It's 12 volt now and has different gears in the rearend so I can take to the highways!

  15. here are a couple of my projects.

56 caddy sedan deville and yes, that is the original color -not primer. its called camelot gray. she has only 26,000 original miles on it.

38 caddy series 60 special and no, that is not the original color. someone painted it flat black. this one has 46,000 original miles on it with only a couple spots of surface rust. there was only 3,000 of these made. this car as the glass at the outside edge, no beltline and no running boards. a first for 1938.

I posted these in my intro but what the heck. Its a 58 Apache. I drug it out of a field and put an early model 250 inline 6 in it with a three speed. I plan on upgrading the rearend to a newer one I have lying around and putting on a vintage Offenhauser 3 single barrel carb intake on once I find another carb for it. Once the rear is swapped I'm going to lower it. Nothing fancy, just a drivable work in progress.

I dug up this 31 Ford some POS chopped the top:mad: so I guess now its a Roadster pickup. Who ever had this car before me was truly Idiotic. I've spent six months fixing what they screwed up. I had to make patches and replace 10 inches all the way around the bottom of the car. I almost crushed the car but couldn't bring my self to do it. I started yanking chunks of bondo out of holes. The entire bottom half of the car was Bondoo evidently these people didn't have a welder I pulled 30lb of bondo out of this car I weighed it.

Instead of crushing it I just rat roded it. After I figured out how to fix everything It was a blast. This has to be the funnest car I ever worked on. Just some rustoleum primer and paint then a good sanding. The door emblems were the hardest part I just masked them off with tape and painted in layers. When they chopped it the cut the door post and window stanchions leaving big holes in the top of the doors I would of had to chop that part out and completely replace the top 4 inches of the door with a piece from another door. I had a stroke of red neck genius though I used some old brass Copenhagen lids and riveted them over the holes it works the should patina to match the color of the car. I'm about to put it on the frame. Does anyone know were I can get a cheap flat head V8 and some bendix brakes. I guess If anything don't give up on an old car you can always fix it.
