I'm real sorry to hear about your father in law, we missed seeing you yesterday.
I only took a couple of pic's, so there's not much for me to burn for you. Hopefully some one that shot a bunch will help you out.
Thanks for posting all the pics John, it looks like you took a bunch...hint, hint!;)

I can't believe I went to Burlington (yawn!) and missed this show for so many years. I was able to make it one year when they had it at the Mendon Drive-in , but having it at Ralphs diner is great.
It was a fantastic show, and even better with the "surprise" the Alter
Boys had for me at the end...thanks a million guys, that was a surprise for sure!!:D

I want to thank the Alter Boys for having a great show, how they arranged such perfect weather is beyond me. The music was great and everyone seemed to be having a great time. It was a perfect ride out and Sunday we took all the back roads home, didn't make good time but arrived late afternoon safe and sound. Thanks to everyone.

Ha! I got Richie to Ralphs!...of course, it was dark by the time we got there but it was really great to see a parking lot full of such gorgeous cars. Next year, we aim for seeing daylight.

Speaking of masterpieces, I had to paint your coupe. (The COUPE is a masterpiece... not the painting...) It's a quicky acrylic on cardboard, but kept me entertained for a while while I studied reference I took at the show. Gotta get back into practice with media I haven't used for a while.

Had a GREAT time at the show. Looking forward to next year, hopefully in mine; but I say that every year...

That's what I do...I'm a hot-rodding painter (starving artist), balancing my time between creating art (thinking about authenticity, and why we love this shit; what fantasies we have as treasure hunters) and completing my rod. Let me know what you're looking for and I can work within, pretty much, any budget (gotta eat and go fast, ya know). Anyone who wants a painting done or has any other artistic needs; PM me for/with details.

here are some more photos. also, please stop on by the diner again this saturday night the 29th. there are a couple of really great bands, the "Wrong Reasons" and Frank Morey. we had this date penciled in for a rain date, but since we didn't have to use it for weather, let's use it for another chance to cruise and hang out!
